Limestone concrete, water, electricity

Collection of Väinö Aaltonen Art Museum, City of Turku Collection
Inside the four limestone concrete heads are mounted motors, which blow air randomly from the mouths making waves on the water surface. A windy sound is produced simultaneously by the air blow from their mouths. The motors are driven electrically so that the heads seem to blow in a random rhythm.
